One of the most notable updates is the increase in the maximum number of participants in a video call. WhatsApp now supports up to 32 participants across all platforms, including mobile devices, Windows, and macOS.

Video Call Participant Increase

This change represents a significant expansion from the previous limit of 8 participants. With the new 32-participant cap, WhatsApp users can now engage in larger group video calls, allowing for more collaborative and inclusive virtual meetings or social gatherings.

The expanded participant limit brings WhatsApp in line with other popular video conferencing platforms, providing users with more flexibility and options for their communication needs. This update is particularly useful for businesses, educational institutions, and personal groups that require the ability to host larger virtual meetings or events.
