WhatsApp Beta Rolls Out Voice Message Transcription Feature for Android Users

The voice message transcription feature is currently available in the WhatsApp beta version 2.24.15.5 for Android devices. To use the feature, users need to download an additional language data package. This package ensures that all message transcripts are generated directly on the user’s device, enhancing privacy since no external servers are involved in the transcription process. The feature supports five languages at present: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Hindi.
