The HDMI Link app supports connection to various devices, including gaming consoles like the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and handheld PCs such as the Steam Deck. It also works with smartphones, laptops, and other devices equipped with HDMI or DisplayPort outputs.

To use the HDMI Link app, users need to acquire a UVC (USB Video Class) and UAC (USB Audio Class) compatible capture card that supports 1080p video. The setup involves connecting the source device to the capture card using an HDMI cable, and then connecting the capture card to the Meta Quest headset via a USB-A to USB-C cable. It is recommended to use a USB-C power adapter to keep the headset charged during use.

Supported Features
The HDMI Link app enables users to display 2D content in a 3D space with a maximum resolution of 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) and near-zero latency, making it suitable for gaming and other interactive applications. The virtual display can be freely positioned and scaled within the augmented reality field of view, offering flexibility in how users can view their content.
