Several M4 iPad Pro owners reported that their devices stopped functioning entirely after the update process. These reports indicate that the iPad would shut down during the installation and refuse to turn back on, even after attempting various reset options.

Issue Acknowledged and Update Blocked

Apple has acknowledged the issue and has stopped signing the iPadOS 18 update for the M4 iPad Pro models. This means that the update is no longer available for download and installation on these specific devices. Apple’s servers have also stopped activating the update if it is installed through other means.
