The new headset, tentatively named the “Apple Vision,” is expected to be priced around $2,000, significantly lower than the current $$3,500 Apple Vision Pro. To achieve this lower price point, Apple plans to use a less powerful processor and cheaper materials, such as alternatives to aluminum and glass.

Key Features and Specs

Despite the lower price, the Apple Vision is still expected to offer a high-quality mixed-reality experience. It will feature advanced cameras, sensors, and display technology, although not to the same extent as the more expensive Vision Pro model.

Processor and Performance

The Apple Vision is rumored to use a less powerful processor than the M1 chip found in the Vision Pro. This decision is likely aimed at reducing the overall cost of the device while still providing a smooth and responsive user experience.

Materials and Design

Instead of the high-end aluminum and glass used in the Vision Pro, the Apple Vision will reportedly incorporate more cost-effective materials, such as plastic, to keep the price down. The overall design may be slightly less premium, but it is still expected to maintain Apple’s signature aesthetic.
