The 2025 Ford Explorer is the first Ford vehicle to adopt the new “Ford Digital Experience” infotainment system, which is built on Google’s Android Automotive platform. This system replaces the previous SYNC 3 interface and offers a more seamless and intuitive user experience. The Android Automotive platform allows for deep integration with Google services, including Google Maps, which can display navigation screens on both the 13.2-inch touchscreen and the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
