Meta Launches New Standalone Communities Feature in Messenger App

These Communities can be created without the need for a linked Facebook Group, providing a more flexible way for groups to communicate. Up to 5,000 people can join a Community through shareable invites. Each Community features a dedicated “Home” space where administrators can share updates and announcements. Communities can also consolidate multiple group chats into one place, making it easier to manage different topics within the same community.
